Cathi Rossi

SENIOR STRATEGIST

Cathy Rossi specializes in strategic and crisis communications, including internal and external communications planning, community relations, media relations as well as legislative and issue advocacy.

She brings private and public sector experience, including service to two U.S. Catholic Cardinals as Director of Communications for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for many years where she led communications during the Cardinal’s Papal visit to Cuba, the Canonization of Philadelphia’s (Saint) Katharine Drexel and the historical clergy sexual abuse crisis.

Cathy also served as Communications Director for the Governor of Delaware, working on a myriad of public policy issues including education, public safety, transportation, environmental and economic matters.

For many years, she led a multi-state team as Vice President of Public and Government Affairs for AAA working on safety and travel-related issues in legislative, community and media relations. In that capacity, she was recognized by the Public Relations Society of America with a prestigious national Silver Anvil Award for work on teen driving.

Cathy is accredited in public relations (APR) from PRSA. Cathy developed and taught courses in communications for Wilmington University at the graduate and undergraduate level. She has mentored many young people of all ages, helping to launch a job program for at-risk high school students in Delaware, later serving on its Board, as well as on many other corporate and non-profit boards in the Mid-Atlantic region, including the Alzheimer’s Association and Girl Scouts.

Prior to PR, Cathy served as a broadcast journalist covering many high profile media stories in television news at FOX News in Philadelphia and several TV and radio stations in Delaware.

Cathy believes that authentic communications better enables us to connect as human beings to help one another make the best use of the gifts we have been given, ultimately to serve the greater good.
