Anne Steffens is a six-time Emmy award winner who has parlayed her passion for and experience with communications into a small business that helps other small companies and non-profits tell the story about who they are and what they believe. Anne Steffens brings more than 25 years of broadcast media, public relations, media relations, media training, and crisis communications experience to her clients. The media players and decision makers know her, trust her, and take her calls.
As the founder of Steffens Communications, Anne has helped large companies and small non-profits across the country navigate the troubled waters of crisis. She believes every crisis is an opportunity to grow and reengage your audience in your mission. She is a strategic thinker with a specialty (and stomach!) for crisis management, but can also help share feel good stories effectively.
Prior to creating Steffens Communications, Anne Steffens served as the Chief Communications Officer for the Archdiocese of St. Louis, overseeing the media coverage, website and diocesan newspaper. Previous to that, she was also a reporter/anchor for ten years at KMOV-TV (CBS) in St. Louis.
