I had it all. Truly. From the outside looking in, there was no reason to question the path I was going down. A loving husband, three beautiful children, a thriving career, a full-time nanny, a beautiful new home, supportive friends and family…life was good, yet I found myself at a crossroads.
You see, from the outside looking in life was perfect. Yet, if I was being true to myself I realized something was missing.
Then I saw this…
I came across this video literally days after returning to work from maternity leave with baby #3 and the message stuck. For 35 years, it seemed, I had spent my days rushing from one responsibility to the next, trying to satisfy the expectations of others, without taking time to notice the gifts right in front of me. After slowing down for a short bit, I realized the days were passing me by. Once I recognized I had the freedom to travel down a new, unknown road, I jumped.
In June 2016, I left my job as Executive Director of Communications and Planning for the Archdiocese of St. Louis and dove into a world of ambiguity….and Katie Pesha Consulting, LLC was born. I have dreams to build this opportunity into something special – please join me on the journey!
